Come and enjoy the peace and quiet of our Pennine farm house, which is surrounded by beautiful gardens and situated over 1000 feet above sea level. We are a working sheep farm and take bookings from March to the end of November.
Badger Fields Farm is on the outskirts ofBlackshaw Head, and is approximately two miles from the Pennine town of Hebden Bridge, and halfway between Halifax and Burnley. The farm is easily located from the main road named Badger Lane which runs through Blackshaw Head, up a tarmac drive. The views from the farmhouse are spectacular, over surrounding hills and valleys. The Pennine Way footpath runs through the farm's fields and the Calderdale Way is only half a mile away. There is also a Bridleway path, named the Mary Townley loop, which passes close by the farm. Visit Tiredboots,a Walking Accommodation guide, for more information about long distance footpaths.
The farm is run in an eco-friendly manner using home grown vegetables and fruit when preparing food for guests. A wind turbine supplies our premises with electricity.
